Screen Printing

Screen Printing is the most versatile of all printing processes. This method uses a silk screen to print your logo directly onto a product; generally up to 4 colours can be printed using this process. Screen printing is a method of applying ink to a surface through a stencil supported on a fine mesh of fabric, generally silk stretched tightly over a frame. At Brandtek we can print on promotional products such as bags, mugs, compendiums, satchels, umbrellas, pens and anything else that requires a print too big for pad printing. There are two types of screen printing, standard screen printing and rotary screen printing.

Standard screen printing is recommended for prints on flat objects that require a print larger than a pad print.

Items ideal for Screen Printing include:

  • Travel Bags
  • Shopping Bags
  • Satchels
  • Umbrellas
  • Compendiums
  • Backpacks
  • Diaries
  • T-Shirts
Rotary Screen Printing

Rotary Screen printing is the technique of rolling a product across a flat screen which will in turn produce a print which goes all the way around the product without any breaks.

You can't use any ordinary screen printer to do this, it requires a machine specifically designed to rotary screen print. We have access to the latest in Rotary Screen printing technology. So if you have a brand that is too big for pad printing...rotary screen printing is the alternative.

Items ideal for Rotary Screen Printing include:

  • Coffee Mugs
  • Flasks
  • Drink Bottles
  • Travel Mugs

Numbering and Lettering

Numbering and lettering is another component of the screen printing service, numbers or names can be added to t shirts, polo shirts and are ideal for sports uniforms and teams. Numbering and lettering are applied on a per digit/letter basis and priced accordingly; generally prices are based on the size of the number or letter applied.

Embroidery

Embroidery is the standard branding technique for most garments and caps. This process use a large machine to stitch your logo or message onto the fabric of the product or garment with multiple colour options available. Embroidery is ideal for upscale items such as jackets, polos, caps and bags. Embroidery pricing is based on how many stitches it takes to embroider the logo or design. Your design/logo can include up to 9 thread colors.

Embossing / Debossing

Embossing (hot stamping) stamps your logo into the surface of the product, leaving an impression and providing a tonal effect. It looks very effective on Compendiums, Leather Luggage Tags and Leather Business Card Holders. Debossing uses a custom-made die to press your logo directly into a material's surface. Debossed logos have a subtle, yet sophisticated, appearance. Debossing is ideal on leather and vinyl products.

Foil Printing

Foil Printing is a process where a metallic foil is heated onto a product using a hot logo’d stamp. The effect is a metallic finish. Items which can be foil printed include Compendiums and other Vinyl or Leather Products.

Epoxy / Resin

The Epoxy Dome method features your logo printed on paper under a clear, high-gloss acrylic dome, giving designs a sleek, dimensional look. The dome is then applied to a product's surface with a strong adhesive. This method is digitally printed with your logo adhered onto the substrate and protected by a clear resin epoxy coating; this method also offers unlimited colour digital printing and is ideal for key-rings, name badges and general promotional items. This is a great option when cost effective full colour branding is required with all sizes and shapes available all custom made to your specifications.

Molded Rubber Patches / Logo 3D

The molded rubber patch decorating option offers a high-impact, raised, dimensional look and comes in a variety of patch colors and shapes. The patches are then applied to a product's surface with a strong adhesive. These are often used in decorating; satchels, bags, compendiums etc.

Badging

Badging is a relatively new technology. We create a metal or PVC badge of your logo and attach to the product. Metal badges are riveted on while PVC badges are sewn on. Bags and Caps are the main products to be badged. A fresh and innovative way to display your logo.

Plastisol Transfer

Plastisol Transfer is to print a design with plastisol ink, but instead of printing it directly on the product, we print the design on special paper. The paper is then passed through a conveyer dryer where the ink is heated until it has gelled just enough to be dry to the touch. It is then placed on the product and pressed with a heat press at temperatures exceeding 200 degrees. Once heated, the heat is released, the paper removed and the end product is an image of plastisol ink on your item.
With plastisol, because you can print onto paper you can actually save your transfers for later use. Say you have an annual event that you need shirts for, it is possible to print 200 transfers onto the paper and transfer 100 for this years event and save the rest for next years event. When that event comes you can then apply the remaining transfers without any difference to the image.
Also, because you are not printing directly on the product (which requires the product to be flat as possible) you can apply your transfer to almost any part of any product that can be transferred onto.

Laser Engraving

Laser Engraving is the method of placing your logo onto a promotional product by burning away a coating on the material. Utilizing our latest European technology and well trained staff, we can engrave to different depths and darkness' as requested with high definition quality. Laser Engraving has the technology to not only engrave your logo all at a single depth, but also at different and multiple depths. Multiple engraving depths or 'tones' can create some wonderful effects on your metallic products. Tones work best if you have a multiple colour logo that you wish to laser engrave in tones, this will give the effect of a grey scale image when engraved. Laser Engraving offers a fantastic finish on metallic promotional products which will last the test of time. Laser engraving can never be removed unlike ink printing. Laser Engraving can only be performed on Metallic promotional products but soon we will advance our technology to be able to laser engrave wood and leather.

Laser Engravable items include:

  • Key rings
  • Pens
  • Stainless Steel Mugs
  • Business card holders
  • Luggage Tags
  • iPod Nanos

Pad Printing

Pad Printing is the method of printing most commonly used to print your logo onto the surface of small, irregular shaped products. It is a wet ink transfer decorating process used to print 1 colour, 2 colour, 3 colour and 4 colours pad prints as well as Full Process pad prints. Full colour pad prints now enables us to pad print full colour images into your 3D inanimate promotional products. Our maximum pad printing area is either 50mm W x 180mm H or 180mm H x 50mm W. So therefore pad printing is perfect on smaller products of a difficult shape.

Pad Printable items include:

  • Mugs
  • Stress Objects (balls, cars, houses, etc.)
